Lame Vacation Plans

Anyone else NOT really have vacation plans?

I need to go on one sooooooooooooooooooo bad. So far, though, looks like I am not even leaving the state.

August 7th, I think I am going to a rodeo to see a band called Montgomery Gentry. I do have plans to find a bull, even if mechanical, and ride the damn thing.

August 14th, I am driving 3 hours to see a guy named Gary Allan at the Missouri State Fair. That one may actually consist of weekend fun.

I NEED TO GET ON A PLANE TO SOMEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mexico is my next out of country destination. Especially now that I need more Tequila!!!!!

If a lame vacation is what you're looking for, I'll turn on my TV to the Spanish-language channel, put out some salsa and cornchips, and have plenty of Dos Equis and tequila on-hand, and you can fly to northern Va to visit me and we can pretend we're in Mexico. I'll even try to speak Mexican for you.

I have no vacation plans as yet. I am still waiting on my brother to get his act together so we can go to JA. I will be taking a short celebratory trip in July probably only for the weekend.

Lol, get him to join here and we will get his act together!

I don't know where that is, but it sounds like Springfield Mall in No. Va. Hardly a week goes by that El Salvadorian MS-13 gangs don't shoot smaddy or hack smaddy with a machete in the parking lot there.

I've decided to accentuate the postive here today.........

Tonight I am going to margarita madness with the girls and a guy I really like.

Tomorrow, a friends house to hang out.

Friday I am going to a club to listen to some local bands, hear a big concert announcement, and hopefully score some free tickets.

Sunday, I am seeing a baseball player I have been in love with since I was a kid. He's at a sports show here. I am going to get my picture taken with him and watch some friends play softball that night.

Next week.....Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday I am going to see my beloved baseball Cardinals play. I am giddy over this. I'm off Friday for Good Friday. And, it's party at the park at the local horse track.

If nothing else, I will need a vacation from all the fun I hope to have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a great weekend to me, T&L. Gotta watch those baseball players, though...they're always trying to steal second or third base.

Yesterday I skipped work and hung out with a friend all day. It was awesome. Breakfast, saw "monsters vs. aliens" in 3D. It was pretty cute. I sport an air hockey injury now....nearly lost a finger. I won the game, though, that's all that matters. Had some drinks. Watched some movies. It was nice to just destress. I need to do that for about a week!

I am doing 2 baseball games, parties at the park at the racetrack, and hanging with my best baseball bud for some drinking.

I can't even get him to answer and email in under two weeks.

If you are anything like my sister I can understand why Every time I talk to her she goes on about me having to wear sun screen so I don't get skin cancer. Today I get an e-mail about poison ivy being bad this year and instructions to wash my hands before I use the bathroom.
