One hotel that caught my eye (for reasons that will soon become apparent) is Couples Tower Isle (formerly Couples Ocho Rios), located 5 miles east of Ocho Rios. Apparently there's a nearby island (Tower Isle) that's au naturel and where everybody goes to let it all hang out (so to speak).

By the looks of things it is on the ohter side of St James Ave - local side rather than tourist side.


I would say it was about a 20 mins walk to Margaritaville from there. But it is a straight road so you can stagger quite easily.
