Mawnin. Up with the chickens and having a couple of cups of Blue Mountain coffee (reserving it for the weekends, to stretch it and also to make the weekends a little more special to look forward to all week). Hoping to have lunch today with my son and new daughter-in-law. Have a nice little wedding gift to give them--no, not tickets to Hawaii, but I think they'll be pleased anyway. My son really likes Tikayi Grill, the Japanese restaurant we always go to, but--for the sake of variety--I might propose going to Mango Mike's, a Caribbean theme restaurant on the outskirts of Alexandria (it used to be the Bombay Bicycle Club, a hugely popular lounge and major meat market on Friday and Saturday nights). I took myself to Mango Mike's once for lunch a couple of years ago, shortly after one of my trips to Jamaica, and enjoyed it. A bit overpriced perhaps, but I suppose the food and ambiance are worth it.
