Question for the ladies

Postby Wahoo » Tue Nov 17, 2009 9:22 pm

Which do you think is sexier: Steven Segal's old straight long-hair look or his new short wavy-hair look? Maybe it's a hairpiece...I dunno. I'm just asking so I'll know whether to grow the ponytail or go for the short wavy look.

I could be wrong, but I picture Nanoose with a short ponytail. Hard as I try, though, I just can't picture Eco with a ponytail.

I use to have long hair in high school but every since it's been cut with dog clippers. So.......no mullets, ponytails, rat tails (remember them?), or any other funky stuff. I don't know about bald being sexy but it is sure cheaper than going to the barber, thanks for the compliment none the less.

I wear a toupee, Rose. Almost lost it that time I was pushed into the surf at Canoe.

Well my hair is to curly for a pony tail it would be more realistic if you pictured me in an afro. I think Steven Segal's looked way tougher in the pony tail. Cheers!

I'm tempted to shave my head bald, too, but I'm not sure that's the right look for me. Looks good on Eco 'cause he's tall & well-proportioned, but I'm short & fat. If I shaved my head, with my big gut, I'd look like Buddha! Not a good look, unless you're celibate and couldn't care less whether or not you ever get laid in this lifetime. And I haven't thrown in the towel yet. However, if I ever do start balding, I vow I'll just shave my head--no touppes or pathetic comb-overs for this boy. Though I might take to wearing a captain's hat like the skipper in Gilligan's Island... :jestercolor:

Try shaving your head for the winter to see if you like it. If people pick on you just tell them you have cancer.

The beard and mustache look good on you not to sound gay. I use to have a mustache and listened to everyone tell me I looked gay until one day I looked in the mirror and decided for myself that I did look gay. The darn thing clashed with my pink pride shirt :clown:

LOL. I have two Hawaiian shirts I enjoy wearing at times, but that my sons used to tell me make me look gay. To their dismay, I was wearing one one weekend when the 3 of us went to a restaurant for lunch. This particular restaurant was one of those that has greeters at the entrance to open the door and welcome you as you enter and exit. As we were leaving the restaurant and I walked past the cute young gal holding the door open, she smiled and said, "Nice shirt!"

"Thank you," I replied, then added, "my sons think it makes me look gay."

"I don't think it makes you look gay," she coyly commented. ;-)

Once outside the restaurant, I turned to my sons, who'd heard the cute gal's remark, and said, "BOO YAA!"

This thread gives me a novel money-making idea to finance my next trip: Maybe I could market a Wahoo doll (like the G.I. Joe and Ken dolls). It would come with different wardrobe items (eg, Hawaiian shirt, JAB T-shirt, money belt, water shoes) and accessories (eg, miniature Red Stripe bottle, K-bar fightin knife, machete, different toupees). Just in time for Christmas, too!
