They showed a mother raccoon showing her young how to collapse their spine so they could slip into a small opening looked kind of weird but amassing how they fit through such a small space.
They also talked about how raccoon viruses and diseases can be transferred to humans.
The worst one is from coming in contact with raccoon droppings there is a worm and if it has laid eggs those eggs can become air born – enter a humans system and cause sickness and sometimes death. They showed a guy sweeping out a shed full of raccoon droppings and I thought that’s how I would of done it but all your doing is getting the eggs air born. There has been many times that I have picked up a dry raccoon droppings while tidying up flower beds and I never use work gloves but I’m not going to do that no more – dry or frozen those eggs will lay dormant until they enter a host. Cheers and happy week end!
