Speaking of liver abuse, I have a nice bottle of Mango Rum from Barbados that I'm planning on drinking today while tailgating before a concert.

That's the spirit! It's been months since I last had any rum. We all know Appleton is de bes, but another rum that I enjoyed in the Dominican Republic is Barcelo Rum (or "Ron," the Spanish word for "Rum"). A very drinkable rum--you can drink it all day and still function. Had a bottle in my room at all times to alternate between my fridge-full of delicious Presidente beer.

Eco's probably geezing...just like me. The name of that Dominican rum I mentioned is Brugal, not Barcelo (the name of the resort where I stayed).

Are you sure that Mango rum is from Barbados? Sounds more like St. Kitts product.

It says on the bottle that the rum is from Barbados so I'll trust them since my taste buds are not good enough to pick out exactly where it is from.

I heading out to play in Boston traffic for a few hours. I am really thinking about hooking a PA system up to my truck that can play sounds like machine gun fire or sirens.
