But, speaking of health care I get this one:

As a rule, I don't pass along these "add your name" lists
that appear in emails, BUT this one is important. and
different.

It has been circulating for months and has been sent to over
300 million people! We don't want to lose any names on the list,
so just hit forward and send on.

Please keep it going!

To show your support for Obama's health care reform,
please go to the end of the list and add your name.

Well “cretin”= A Person that is: brainless, stupid, child-like, and full of pointless information that makes no sense.
So maybe that will help you get the joke. Actually I have been trying to understand this heath reform debate seems to me that more people are against it then for it and I thought it would be the other way round. Cheers!

Yeah, I thought everybody knew that VP guy is a cretin! And the cartoonist's depiction of BO as an arrogant monarch who reigns over his kingdom and subjects is on spot. We have a pres who rules rather than leads, often with arrogant disregard for the Constitution. Also, Congress needs to separate the bills it votes (or "deems and passes") on. The trillion-dollar health reform bill contains a multi-billion-dollar student loan bill. What happened to the promised national deficit reduction?

If the current health care takeover bill is so good for the country, why can't the democrats get 216 out of 257 democrats to vote for it? If it's so good, why not even 1 republican voting for it? The answer is that everyone knows the bill is nothing but a first step in the takeover of the health care system with over 150 new boards, commissions, etc, cuts in Medicare and tax increases for everyone else, and incentives for companies to drop health care coverage and pay the less-expensive fines.

Incremental cost fixes like legal reform to reduce the costs of lawsuits and malpractice insurance would help. Allow us to buy from any insurance company across the country. Common sense on how much doctors can mark up the cost of everything they use. There are a lot of things that can be done to lower insurance and medical costs without a wholesale takeover of the entire system using a 2,700-page bill that has to include bribes to get individual democrats to vote for it.

Under the federal health care takeover, the IRs will audit companies and individuals to see if you have the government-mandated minimum health care coverage. If you do not, be prepared to pay $2250 or 2% of your income to the IRS as a penalty. If you have a tax refund due, the IRS can withhold enough of it to cover your penalty.

Re: student loans under the health care takeover bill. Treasury can charge students 6.8%, borrow at 2%, and pocket the difference or funnel it into other social engineering programs.

Wahoo, look into the laws in my state, we have to have health care! I have no clue what happens if we don't have it......or if someone is out of work and can't afford it.

At times I wonder if I took a long nap and missed the announcement that the US has adopted Socialism :roulette:

Liberal dems in the House are declaring their vote for the welfare state in America a historic event...so was the Charge of the Light Brigade.
