Poor guy...i always wonder why i can't find someone like that? :-) She knows what she was doing from day one, she find her target and she went after it. He fell in love with her, it seems as if he doesn't have many experience when it comes to relationships. I hope he used this experience and be more careful about the girls he dates. As we all know you live and you learn.

Don't worry Lad...there are many "SUCKERS" like you waiting at the end of the assemble line waiting for the next girl come along!!!!

Lol @ him bitching about throwing away 5 years, that's like walking in a rain storm and bitching about a single drop of water.

Eco you know something we don't   is 5 years not enough time to suffer? :-o

I'm just pointing out how he is making 5 years sound like a long time while other men have suffered for 10,20,30,40 and even 50 years.

LOL LOL LOL LOL Good for him she broke things off and allowed him to escape at only five years. :jestercolor:

No kidding!

My first wife was only 1/25th as bad as the one in the story but I was able to escape after less than a year of marriage.

Sometimes it dosen't matter how old we are we tend to make the same mistake over and over again. Many a times we know there are problems in a relationship but we turn a blind eye as if we can't see what is going on. We tell ourselves maybe tomorrow or next week things will get better or that person will change...To be a door mat for five years really says something about this guy and his selfesteem. He puts in 99% in the relationship, she puts in a measly 5% maybe less. There were so many signs that this girl was no good, he should have run when she said "I cheeted on all my boyfriends" RED FLAG! Some of us always think we can chage another person. I hope this dosn't become a pattern in his life where he's attracted to girls like her.

Some women don't recognize a good man when they have one (visa versa). I hope you learn from this ordeal and not change who you are. There are many wonderful ladies who are praying for someone to love them the way you did your ex. I also hope you don't miss that blessing by comparing the next one to the ex one. You will soon get over her as long as you cut communication and conversations about her. You deserve better. Take time to heal, forgive and love will come again.
