Signature Links

I disabled signature links in an effort to cut down on the spammers.....not sure if it will work.

Nanoose, I changed your user type to mod so your signature link should be fine. If for some reason it does not show up let me know and I'll play around to make it happen.

Thanks! Yesterday I googled a member that had one post and found pages of that person signing up to Forums and making one post with a signature link. When I looked at the join dates there would be 20 or so registered on the same day. Cheers!

Yeah, most of them with a number after their name like Wendy88 are people who are paid to spam. Somewhere I had a link to a spammers forum because they linked to us. I could care less about on topic links but the crap link from Thailand and product links annoy me a little bit. Heck, I don't even care if posting members have links to dogfood sites or anything shy of porn sites but spammers irk me.

I was just reading some spam in the travel section and it seems so stupid to me. Its blatantly deceiving so I would be an idiot if I was to trust my PC with them. Cheers!
