Smith and Smith

Long before duck tape was invented Red Green (Steve Smith) co stared in a TV variety show called Smith and Smith. It was quite an entertain show but it also started me thinking about things like politics my fellow man and the environment. At the end of every show they brought out their little girl so it was kind of neat watching her grow up over the years. Cheers!

What's pushing us apart isn't loneliness what's holding us together isn't love. Listen to the man who's been touched all his life yes he's the one they call the fool. Where is that savoir of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades? We still got along way to go yes we still got a along way to go.

Morag Smith kind of made me feel like I was climbing the rope in gym class but it was her musical talents that got me off. Always wondered why she wasn’t on The Red Green show hope it was something like she put her career on hold to bring up their daughter not something like she passed on. Cheers!

One of the skits on the Smith and Smith show was a guest appearance by a guy called Red green. In this video he talks about gun safety. It was filmed in the early 80s which was before Canada’s gun registry law which cost Canada millions and made it so the criminals have more guns then the good guys. Cheers!

Concealed carry might discourage this current epidemic of flash mob violence if a few of them get their hides ventilated.

The police are only cleanup crews with badges. They can't be everywhere to prevent crime. I wouldn't want them everywhere. Crime can only be prevented by a well-armed populace where the turds know that wherever they go there is likely to be someone armed and willing to put so many holes in their carcasses they will drain Red Bull faster than they can drink it.

The gun registry was stupid in lots of ways. It was expensive for the gun owners and frustrating because it was poorly organized (but yet the Government spent millions setting it up). There are all kinds of rules how you have to store your gun- firing pin removed and in a separate locked box – not real good if there is an emergency. What was real stupid is the registry made it so anybody can find out if you have a gun and what kind it is – if they find you have a 22 they bring a 45 kind of like rock paper scissors. Cheers!

Huh? So you are a farmer who has a gun to protect your herd of sheep from bears or whatever and you have to remove the firing pin? The same goes for a lickher store owner that keeps getting robbed..... Stupid laws in place all over the world.

Growing up in Vermont it was very common to see rifle rack with guns on them in pickup trucks, heck our "general store" had a rack where we could rest our guns while we got munchies if we were hunting. Local bars down south had gun lockups so you could party without a gun and then load up for the drive home. In all cases where I've witnessed liberal gun laws nothing bad happened.

We used to have loaded gun racks in the back of pick ups in Canada too and if I recall things were more neighborly back then. Criminals and serial killers flock to BC and they probably got a joke – what they going do shot us?
Then they laugh and laugh. Cheers!
