Sometimes I simply just don’t understand my eldest son

A few weeks ago my eldest son and his wife came over to visit the wife and I.
We were all having a pleasant conversation about the “garden” when my son started talking about the M- theory (a string theory) which I couldn’t understand because I know nothing about quantum mechanics.
So I had to say son I don’t understand you - explain it to me like a I am 5 years old and he tried he used a Japanese Koy fish for an example – it helped a little but its was still pretty hard to understand. Cheers!
