What's the craziest thing you ever heard where a person sued and won?

An elderly woman sued McDonalds for serving her coffee that was too hot and SHE spilled it in her lap causing a burn and got PAID!! Now if the bottom of the cup melted away allowing the coffee to dump in her lap, I'd sue the hamburger out of them too.

So many people suing for foolish stuff they are talking of implementing charges to those plaintiffs who lose to pay the legal fees hoping it will deter and lessen the amount of cases they have in the system. (Read it somewhere).
