What food am I allowed to take to Jamaica - Home comforts like tea bags etc

I'm interested to know the answer as well. Other than finding "for personal consumption" which is a really broad term I can't find any place that actually gives you a good list of what you can bring and in what quantities.

I'll edit this with a link to the customs website once I go dig it up again.

http://www.jacustoms.gov.jm is the link to the website. Basically it is similar to the US and Canada and im sure the UK. Meat, plants, fruits and vegetables. I also checked with my bredrin that works for the Ministry of Agriculture in Old harbour, and he stated that yes these types of products because can harbor foreign parasites that jamaica does not have. Just like No dog or cat shall be imported into Jamaica except such an animal was born and breed in Great Britain, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland
