So....Saturday I get a letter and instantly I know the handwriting on the envelope....it belongs to my x wife After not seeing each other for 15+ years she wants to finally sale the townhouse that we both own

If my memory is correct we bought it in 1990 for $70,000 and 20 years into the mortgage I would assume we owe $35,000 (no clue please correct me if I'm wrong). According to her the place is still in great shape and she might have buyers....

But.......the market in Stephens City VA sort of sucks in my opinion

20 years later the place is not even worth twice what we bought it for I think that sets a national low for real estate.

Oh well, I get a monkey off my back and a few coins in my pocket

Eco, I have no idea where Stephens City Va is, but if you want your ex wifes kneecaps busted, we might be able to work out a deal.

It's about 5-10 minutes south on 81 from Winchester. About....maybe an hour and 15 minutes from your home depending on traffic.

Good question Rose.....I guess the monkey is knowing that my name/credit is on the loan for the house and hoping like heck that the thing is paid for every month so it doesn't hurt my credit without my knowledge.

Its the long weekend here in canada similar to Memorial day in the states..heading to New Brunswick to chill with my girl!!! Driving down, going to go thru Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine!!

I found $20 on the way to work today and when I got to work I was given some priceless news – my grounds keeping customer told me that the landscapers would be arriving at 9:30 to plant a bunch of new plants. Good for me because it means more plants to take care of and good for me because I knew that I would be in for some priceless entertainment because 2 of the 3 landscapers are fine looking ladies the other one is a comedian. This is kind of bad but I started hoping for a sudden heat wave so that they would be down to their t-shirts by 10:00. (It’s bad because it’s better to transplant in cool weather so I should of been hoping for a over cast day)
Going to add that they aren’t just 3 pretty faces in t-shirts they knew what they were doing and did a great job.
Also going to add that all 3 of them wear sun glasses just like the ones that Lieutenant Jodi La Forge on the TV show Star Trek the Next Generation wears so it made the whole thing a bit comical an a bit mysterious. Cheers!

Just had my auto safety and emissions inspections did. I was half expecting the dirty bum to slap on a rejection sticker and tell me, "Your sprocket protectors are shot, but we can replace them for you today for $800...per axle." But we passed inspection with flying colors, so the inspection guy turned out to be an upstanding dude after all.

Gonna be a scorcher today...might have to pay a visit to the ABC store for a bokkle of liquid heat relief.

Just got back from watching elder son's band play at JAXX, a happening local nightclub. They rocked the place! It was wall to wall nookie...if only I were 30 or 40 years younger. Outrageous prices on beer & booze, though...$5.00 a bottle of beer, $7.00 a shot of whiskey. Now I'm back home in my comfort zone, where's there's plenty of beer, getting ready to watch I Am Legend. Salud.

Started to build a beach on my lower level of land next to my lake. So far it's only 15x12, the nice white sand at $6 a bag is chewing up my vacation money. Now I need some fake palm trees and some rum punch.......and some beach vendors and I will save $$$ instead of going to Jamaica!

Eco, I emptied the sand from my suitcases, my water shoes, and the pockets of the shorts I was wearing when I got dunked at Canoe, and I got a good half ounce to contribute to your beach. You best claim it asap before I donate it to the Goodwill-type place.

The guy I buy my weed from gave me a good deal yesterday on my weekend bag of weed a half ounce for $60. I usually only by a ¼ a week so now I will be able to smoke twice as much this week end. Cheers and happy week end!
