Eco, what's the total snowfall in your yaard, or is it still coming down? At least you have the snow blower. Wish I'd had one of those yesterday, I could have spared myself a lot of unnessary exertion. Used the last of my milk for my morning coffee, so I hope to get out a little later, but first I'll have to shovel the wall of snow behind my car deposited by the snow plow when it cleared a swath down the center of our parking lot. High temps in the low 30's forecasted all week, so there won't be much melting of all this snow all week. But those who were wishing for a white Christmas will be happy. This will be the first white Christmas (officially defined as at least 1 inch of snow on the ground) in the the DC metro area in 20 years.

Wahoo, it's hard to tell how much snow we got because of all of the wind. I'll take a guess at somewhere between 8"-10". The weather people claim that we are getting a few more inches but I have a theory that Home Depot and Lowes pay them to say that so people buy snow blowers and shovels.

Edit: Just looked outside, we got another 1" since I came in from snow blowing.

Something good= Thanks God I'm not one of the unlucky people that were stuck on an Air JA plane on the runway for 8 hours yesterday! Lol, the people on the plane were calling the media to bitch about not getting any food or drinks. After the ordeal they were given a free meal at Subway and were told that the plane might leave Sunday evening...........oh yeah and of course they had to find their own hotel room!

The Federal Gov't is closed today due to all the snow dumped on the region over the weekend, and the place I work follows the Feds' inclement weather plan for office closings, so today I get to stay home and get my cat high.

I love fruit cake! I just went and did my Christmas shopping and completely forgot to get some.

Something good.......... I took a detour from Christmas shopping today to sneak in a few hours of poker....a wise choice!

Got my Christmas gift a day early--a brand new catalytic converter (still covered by the warranty and didn't cost me one red cent). I was really wishing for a lap dance, but a new catalytic converter is the next best thing.

4 hours celebrating Christmas with family today and 12 hours on a poker table, my idea of a fun day.
