Well hi everybody. I was invited to join this forum by a friend. Seems like there's a lot of fun gwaanin here!!

I've recently had the good news that my Jamaican husband was granted his visa to join me in UK. I'm planning to go over on 26th February and we'll fly back together. Whoo hoo!!!

This trip will be short and sweet as it's just for him to pack up and go. I'm just going for a week this time... and yeah obviously hubby thinks I'm a good catch...

Hi Scorpio. welcome to the forum. good news on your hubby! did it take long to get to this stage? my friend is trying to bring her hubby over - they got married in october and has his 1st appointment at embassay in march. got my fingers crossed for them.

We submitted his application on 8th December and he had an interview on 27th January and was granted the visa there and then. The documentation for the application took about a year to compile. I didn't want to leave anything to chance...and it paid off. Jamaica is one of the hardest places in the world to get a visa from.

Always glad to advise regarding applications for visas...only from experience mind...I'm not an expert..but I've studied immigration stuff till I'm blue in the face!!!
