As many of you know I'm getting married to a man I never imagined I could love so much!!! I planned on having my wedding in April so some of you could be there...Tinks could be one of my amazing bridesmaids and Eco my fabulous photographer.
But plans have altered slightly..and although its not ideal...its for the best. Some of you know my dad owns a company and works with the UN. Currently they are dragging him all over the world. They just got back from China and suddenly there is plans for about six more countries in the next year. After much discussion it became apparent that if my wedding wedding was not in September my dad would be unable to come..and obviously its detrimental to me that my daddy be there to walk me down the isle. I would live to regret it otherwise. In April he is going to be in India....so that threw away my plans to have my wedding then as much as I had my dream wedding planned out for then.
So yea it kinda sucks...but on the other hand I'm having a tiny wedding with my family there..and since I'm very much a family orientated girl..I'm in heaven to have them all there.
But I want to be able to share this with my close friends..and some new friends. So Ainsley and I are thinking to have a big wedding party either this spring or the following fall...as soon as his papers are approved for him to come here as we are both doing school over here and working our way to moving back to the island. I will give plenty of warning so as many people can make it as possible. For the record your all invited and I will send out invites....I will mail them to those who give addys and email to the ones that don't.
The party will give me an excuse to wear my dress again...and Ainsley his tux!! What girl doesn't want to re wear the dress. I'm looking for ideas from any of you that think you might be able to make it. I was thinking of maybe renting out a bar/resturant and having a dinner and then a big party. Maybe Marguritaville or something?? Something that's not TOOO over the top expensive but where we can eat..dance..drink and have a blast.
All you UK ladies..aka Jel, Judith, Sizzla...Tinks...etc..I really hope you guys can make it. I'm dying to meet you..well cept Tinks who I already know and always love to see.
And Eco..if you still are willing..I'd love to have you do photographs of Ainsley and I..and everyone at the party. Its kinda like im having my wedding now..and reception then LOL!!
Thoughts?? Ideas???
