Postby ECO » Tue Aug 25, 2009 12:07 pm

I'm working on a blog post for the blog part of our site and need some help on creating a list of tips on safety for people traveling to Jamaica. If you can think of any please post them here

When approached by a street/beach hustler, immediately drop your wallet and run as fast as your legs will carry you in the opposite direction.

Never insult or argue with anyone brandishing a machete.

Lol, maybe we need to do a comedy one as well?

Back on topic and my suggestion:

Tell every street vendor you meet that you want to pay with punani, it means good vibes or good feelings and it will save you a bunch of cash!

Or,
Bring a small pocket knife in case they have a large machete.

Don't drink Red Stripe out of a can.

The cars with the red license plates are the ones that ran over people in the past, some sort of public branding as punishment.

Good point, I'll change the name of the thread before Google sends people to see it.
