Well once a found an article about a Big Foot sighting in Jamaica and found that odd.

I was thinking there must be a zillion odd or unique things in Jamaica – like in wild life or sea creatures maybe also unique medicine and cures.
Anyway I am going to see what I can find in the mean time here are some Jamaican facts. Cheers!

Jamaica is the first Caribbean Country to gain Independence.

Jamaica is the first team from the English-speaking Caribbean to qualify for the Football (Soccer) World Cup. This was the 1998 championship.

On his second voyage to the New World in 1494, the tip of the Blue Mountains in Jamaica was the first land sighted by Christopher Columbus.

Jamaica was the first commercial producer of bananas in the Western Hemisphere

Where is that savoir of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades? We still got along way to go yes we still got a along way to go.

I found this Jamaican Paul Hurlock pretty unique he is an accomplished musician, songwriter and performer and yes -inventor, he invented the only “fully solar energy” powered car. (there is a photo of the car it’s pretty cool)

He is also building a miniature theme park with 12 components portraying an Arawak Indian village, a village of the Maroons the Maroons are unique to Jamaica. Cheers!
