What are the next 5 countries you'd like to visit?

Postby FM 3006 » Sun Feb 15, 2009 2:27 am

I know we all love Jamaica but I would love to see some other countries as well. I've had a goal since 2006 to visit one new country a year and Jamaica was the last country to visit and I was surprised that I loved it. 2006 was the UK (Scotland and England), 2007 was Italy. 2008 was awesome and I have no idea what's in store for 2009 so here is my list:

Venezuela
Saudi Arabia
Indonesia
Haiti
Bangladesh

Edit: Thanks for moving this to "Vacation Plans" ECO. :)

I'm seeing a theme here - how about an angel link up in Brazil? :D

and Japan too - I could fancy Japan.
I intrigue more people in real life than I do in cyberspace. What I WILL do is to capitalize on their attraction to me.If I set out to take advantage of anyone's attraction, its simply for the benefit of God's kingdom.People such as myself, whether we try or not, will always radiate some kinda attraction that men find alluring.my message to those who find it annoying "Don't hate".

I'm too poor for Japan at the moment but Brazil looks nice. Rio de Janiero, Sao Paulo and maybe Curitiba.

I went to Italy in 2007 but never went to Pisa. I flew into Milano then took the train to Roma through Bologna and Firenze. After that I took a day trip down to Catania in Sicily and had a great day down there thanks to Alitalia. The friend I went to visit in Roma thought I was crazy to see Catania because she said that Sicily is full of Mafia men. I told her "why would they mess with a black American guy in a little rental car?"

Anyway, Italy was great. It's a rough country from what I saw. It had a third world feel to it but it seems like when I travel I don't always end up in the most romantic places. :)

I am thinking about six-month travel plan and want to visit Japan, Thailand, North American countries, Paris and Mauritius.

Is it enough time to visit those all sites?
Is it possible to visit those sites by train?
What you think about this travel?

Best Regards,

My first choice, of course, would be Jamaica, but the next 5 would be:

Thailand

Italy

Morocco

Adak (I know the the Aleutian Islands is part of the US, but you can spit across the International Dateline from Adak, and it's so other-worldly it might as well be another country. And I know where there're some caves on the island that I'd like to explore. The Aleuts buried their dead in caves.)
