I'm staying at home with no plans at all. I think the last time I celebrated New Year's Eve was in 2000 and thought it was very over rated.

Yeah, me too ECO. Its being years since I celebrate New Years Eve, my plans are the same as last New Year. The remote in one hand and a drink in the other.

I figure there'll be enough crazies and drunks already on the roads tonite--not to mention those pesky sobriety checkpoints--so I plan to spend the evening safely at home. Watched a couple of college foosball bowl games off & on today, and Tennessee vs Va Tech in the Chick-fil-A Bowl Game from Atlanta kicks off at 7:30, so I'll be watching that. Still about 3 fingers from the bottom of my quart bottle of sour mash bourbon, and that ought to last me thru tonite's Bowl Game.

Speaking of Chick-fil-A, I wish I had a couple of those spicy chicken sammiches rite now...those things are goooood, boy!

Now I'm not sure if I'll make it until midnight, just took a shower and still feel tired...........I'll see if a nap cures it or if a nap will last until the morning.

That's how it starts...it begins with forgetting where you put your socks. Then come the naps that last till the next morning and the 4:30 p.m. early bird dinner specials. Welcome to the Over-40 Club, Eco.

What I did last New Years Eve was celebrate with my family while watching the fireworks. Really nice!
