So what you wearing on International Talk like A Pirate day?

Postby Nanoose » Fri Sep 10, 2010 8:57 pm

I was just doing some research to see what I should ware on International Talk like A Pirate day and I found out that Black Beard may have been born in Jamaica so I think I am going with the Black Beard look (burning matches in the beard and other cool stuff like that)

I found out that Black Beard may have been born in Jamaica on a page about Jamaican history/pirates/and war most of it was quite interesting so I included the link. Cheers!

PS there was a bit about the Maroons
“In some of Jamaica's least hospitable climates, the Maroons developed a unique method of fighting, which often baffled British troops” so I took it as a sign that I should remind ECO to see if he could please get a video of the Maroon’s marshal art on his visit to Jamaica .(its called Bangaran)

I'm wearing my traditional Somali sarong, but I'm not sure that disguise will go over when my hostages see my blond hair and blue eyes.

Well on International talk like a pirate day your hostages wouldn’t dare notice your blond hair and blue eyes because they would know if they did they would be tasting your steal.
Besides arrrrrrrrrrr and e-vast you land lovers I really don’t know how to talk like a pirate so I am going have to do some research on that. Cheers and happy week end!

Arrrrrrrrrrrr – it already be International Talk Like A Pirate day in some parts of the World..
I never got around to learning how to talk like a pirate but I don’t care it’s still going to be fun. I am going to see if I can find my empty collection of miniature alcohol bottles and fill them up with beer then pretend I am a giant pirate.

Walk the walk and talk the talk because you are a pirate. Cheers and happy International Pirate Day!
