I heard that all of the single women would want to marry me and I always wanted thousands of wives!

Or

$300 airfare and a free place to stay for a week with an unlimited supply of coconut milk!

Or

Great food, great people, great climate, great music, cold beer and 1000's of women who wanted to marry me!

I'll provide a serious answer yesterday.

I had a friend who was suffering emotionally over an unexpected divorce. She suggested a girls' vacation to get her mind off things, and I agreed to go. Jamaica was cheap . . . airfare from Maine and all-inclusive for 4 nights was $700. We stayed at RDMB in MoBay -- went on Tropical Dreamer and climbed Dunn's River. It was a blast!!!!

I had never been out of the country (except for a family trip to Quebec when I was 12), so for me, this was pure adventure at its best!!! I'll never forget how scared I was in the airport and going through customs, my first juta ride to the hotel, and then seeing the fabulous view from the lobby -- looking through to the azure sea! I was mesmerized. The music was awesome, the people even better! I went in 2000 and always wanted to go back.

Returned in 2006 for another girls' vacation, and had an even better time than the first!!!!! Stayed at Sunspree in MoBay. Went on Tropical Dreamer twice (LOL), went tubing in the river, and took my first trip to Negril.

Since then, I've been back 5 more times . . . and am scheduled for my 8th trip in 30 days!!!!

So much keeps me going back. Mostly -- it's freedom from responsibility, leisure time to myself, and friends there that I want to see.

My reasons and first trip were almost exactly the same as Lillywight's (except I was the one suffering emotionally from an unexpected divorce).

In my case, my employer had handed me an unexpected $1,000 bonus with the expressed wish that I use it to burn up some of my accrued annual leave and take a trip somewhere. I looked around for destinations and had pretty much decided on Cancun (intending to stay at a notorious anything-goes resort, similar to Jamaica's Hedonism II, there). But then, having already been to Cancun a couple of times, I thought "Why not someplace different this time?" And out of the blue, "Jamaica" popped into my head. I'd never had much desire to visit Jamaica, but my sister-in-law and her future husband had gone there a few times while they were college students. So I spent my $1,000 bonus to take my first trip to Jamaica, and I was hooked. Looking forward to my fourth visit next month.

I was in relationship with a man in the British army who was Jamaican. He 'sold' Jamaica to me. He was the first Jamaican I'd ever met. He asked me to visit there with him - we split before the trip so I went alone. In the ride from Montego Bay to Negril I fell in love with the place immediately. I could sense the energy, there were people socialising on the streets everywhere as we drove by and thumping music. Then I got to the beach and the sound of the ocean and the heat and the colours and the vibes. I knew straight away this was somewhere I wanted to be. I still consider it my second home.
I intrigue more people in real life than I do in cyberspace. What I WILL do is to capitalize on their attraction to me.If I set out to take advantage of anyone's attraction, its simply for the benefit of God's kingdom.People such as myself, whether we try or not, will always radiate some kinda attraction that men find alluring.my message to those who find it annoying "Don't hate".
