Why you should be nice to kids.

Postby Nanoose » Wed Mar 16, 2011 12:31 am

About 20 years ago the wife and I un-officially adopted a little girl. My wife bought her a dress and soon turned her into a little lady – which was cute but I was kind of hoping for another lacrosse player.
At that time my philosophy was, “you can’t always get what you want but if you try – sometimes you get what you need” and in my case it was someone to buy ganja from in the future so I was nice to her and told her things like her dress looked pretty. Turned out better then thought it would because now a days she usually gives me a 20 to 30% discount.
(I was thinking about making a movie based on my un–official step daughter and I called – Hey pops back to the future.)
I was nice to a lot kids in town some of them now have kids so connection wise I’m set for life.
I am kind of goofing around I really was nice to kids so that I could shape their little minds and push education without them thinking (then or in the future) that I was an old foggy (I might make a movie about it called, “Foggy back to the future”.
If she had turned out to be a lacrosse player she would of probably played on my sons team and they would of become the Hanson brothers of the lacrosse field – I might of made a movie about it called, “Slap Shot back to the Future” but it might of got confused with hockey or the real Hanson brothers came looking for me. Cheers!
What's pushing us apart isn't loneliness what's holding us together isn't love. Listen to the man who's been touched all his life yes he's the one they call the fool. Where is that savoir of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades? We still got along way to go yes we still got a along way to go.

In case someone doesn’t know who the Hanson brothers were I added this vid from the movie Slap Shot. There is quite a bit of profanity in it but that’s hockey and why I prefer lacrosse (there’s no profanity in lacrosse it’s more of a gentlemen’s sport). Cheers!

I wouldn't say there's no profanity in lacrosse, but it's certainly not tolerated. At the last collegiate lacrosse game I attended, a player on the opposing team let loose with my favorite four-letter word within earshot of the referee and was ejected from the game for unsportsman-like conduct. :yipes:
