Wireless internet in Jamaica?

Is Jamaica like the United States where you can drive around and find free internet? Do they have public places like Starbucks that offer it or do people not firewall their internet so I can borrow some?

Some places offer free internet while you eat or drink like the Canoe over in Negril (not the only place but the first that came to mind). Also some of the hotels don't lock up their internet like Rooms on the Beach over in Ocho Rios. The people that publish the cool maps of Negril are looking to add all of the free wi-fi places to the map, once it is published I'll link to it from here.

There are also internet cafe places like in the rest of the world and they charge $-$$ so I would shop for the free stuff first.........or buy a beer at a place that offers it for free while you drink.
