Wray & Nephew Plant on Fire in Jamaica

Postby ECO » Wed Dec 02, 2009 12:14 am

The news reports are not that great as of now maybe they will have more details in the morning.

The fire on the compound of liquor manufacturers J Wray and Nephew Limited on Spanish Town Road has now spread to a warehouse storing liquor.

At least seven fire units from the York Park and Trench Town stations are battling the huge blaze which started just after 6 ‘ o clock this evening.

It is not yet clear what started the fire.

Several Cabinet ministers including Prime Minister Bruce Golding are now at the scene. Source: http://go-jamaica.com/news/read_article.php?id=14846

Lol, it will ruin my budget for my trip in April. Hopefully the W&N does not have to age that long so they can make some fresh stuff for me. ;-)
