Last week I was quite surprised when my grounds keeping customer told me that there is an a banded atomic bomb shelter in my area and in the 60s atomic bomb shelters were built all across Canada.
But I wasn’t at all surprised when he told me that the shelters were built for Government officials and their friends.
I figure half the space in those atomic bomb shelters should have been reserved for the conman folk - they could have had a lottery for a lucky ticket to survive an atomic attack.
Now a days they have bombs that would make those old atomic bomb shelters seem like they were built from a deck of cards. Cheers

Would you really want a "lucky ticket" to live out the rest of your life in an underground bunker with government people.....not my idea of fun!

Well maybe I would choose the shelter if I could bring a tuba with me. I don’t play the tuba but I would have plenty of time to learn. Then it would be fun to play tuba theme music as the Government officials pace back and fourth from one end of the shelter to the other end. I wonder how many were built in North America and Europe and what the cost was. Cheers and happy week end!
