Your Christmas Card

Postby ECO » Thu Dec 24, 2009 5:05 pm

In order to save a few trees the forum is not sending out Christmas cards this year.

If you don't buy that story how about: due to the recession the forum can not afford stamps to mail out post cards.

If you don't buy that story then I'll be honest and admit that I'm a cheap bastard.

<close your eyes and imagine a nice Christmas card with 6 $100 bills inside. Keep your eyes closed.....quick open them, some bastard just stole the card and the money while your eyes were closed! See what you get for listening to me? :neener: >

Merry Christmas :merryxmas:

PS, I enclosed some money in this thread but the grinch stole it while you were off line. :yipes:

Eco-friendly chritmaas cards and cards for other occasions are really nice. Just use, reuse and recycle them by giving your own touch.

They help keep the spirit of Christmas through out the year because trees live on and less bleach and chemicals go into the water and that’s a joy.
You may not be aware of this because your new – there is a Grinch on JAB and we have been trying to convert them for years so maybe you can help us find a way to do that. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

So Nanoose, how long until your annual Christmas decoration thread? IMHO we need to keep that Christmas spirit alive all year round......not the giving gifts part but the being nice and doing nice things for others part.

Not sure because last year my digital camera broke a bit before Christmas so I wasn’t able to post any pitchers – I was kind of hoping Santa would bring me a new one but he didn’t (not because I was bad though) so I don’t know what I am going to do this year.
One of the ways I used to keep the spirit of Christmas through out the year was to look at the millions of push pin holes in my walls for 10 months and think of what kind of decoration I will cover them with come Christmas.
I use about 1200 push pins ever year and after10 years my walls looked like peg board plus one year I got the bright idea of hot gluing some my decorations up - worked well but made a lot of damage to the walls when I took them down.
This spring we repaired and painted our walls – it looked real nice so I promised the wife that I wouldn’t put a bunch of new holes in them and I forgot to cross my fingers so I really don’t know what I will do this year (hope I’m not turning into a Grinch).
Cheers and Merry Christmas!
