Those are way cool – couple plants there that I have never seen in my life.
Noticed that there’s not a lot of insect damage on the plants is it because you were selective or the resort does good grounds keeping or insect damaging plants is not a problem in Jamaica? Cheers!

Thanks! I still have to post pictures from another 5 or so gardens that have cool looking plants. I sent a message over to JAjewel to see if she uses chemicals or if the frogs, bats and lizards keep the insects at bay.

I do try to keep ants out of my pictures since most people hate seeing them on flowers…picky people in the world! Bees are another story, the world would not exist without them so I love to catch them doing their thing with the flowers.

This is Cher at Jamaica Jewel….insect damage to flowering plants seems to be more prevalent at certain times of the year depending on certain insects, but slugs & snails can be a year round problem. We also have to be aware of certain fungus. I think Eco just aimed his camera at perfect specimens!

These flowers are really beautiful, wish I were waking up to see these in my garden.
